TAXIS


It should cost roughly 15 to 20 Euro each way per taxi from the city centre to Taylors Three Rock. It is always a good idea to ask your taxi driver for a rough indication of the expected fare before departure. Journey time in a taxi from the city centre is about 20 to 25 minutes.

RETURN TAXIS

Please let one of our staff know when you arrive at the show if you would like a return taxi booked for you. From time to time there can be delays on return taxis but generally the wait is less than ten minutes.

If you have a large group, return taxis should be booked by you in advance.

PUBLIC BUS TRANSPORT FROM CITY CENTRE

Public bus transport is cheaper than taxis but also much slower! You can expect to pay about Euro 2.00 per person each way from the city centre to Taylors. A taxi cuts the journey time by 50%

Whereas the following bus routes may be taken to get to Taylors, please note that return bus times can be as early as 23.15 and generally speaking depart no later than midnight. Please make sure to check the latest Dublin Bus time tables (links below). We are not within comfortable walking distance of LUAS or DART. .

The timetables tell you the time each bus leaves the FIRST location mentioned on the timetable. See our show times to plan your journey. You should also note that the last buses returning to the city centre are usually no later than 23.15, with buses just returning part of the way after this time.

Number 16 bus: Less frequent service. Official journey time from O'Connell Street to Taylors is approximately 60 minutes. Ask the driver to let you off at the 3rd last bus stop (on Grange Road). Walk for 7 minutes along the road signposted for Bray and Stepaside (R113).

Example:
If you are travelling from O'Connell Street, using the Number 16 bus, you need to get a bus at 6.30pm to arrive in Taylors at 7.30pm. In order to be sure of catching a bus at 6.30pm you need to be at the bus stop on O'Connell Street around 6.20pm

Number 48A bus: We estimate journey time to be approximately 45 minutes from Townsend Street (beside Trinity College). Get off at Ballinteer Road (Ballinteer Park) - i.e. the stop beside Ballinteer shopping centre. Walk past the shopping centre to the end of Ballinteer Avenue and turn right at the T-junction. Turn left at next junction signposted for Bray and Stepaside (R113). We are about 200m after this on the left hand side. Total walk time is about 10 minutes.
