MEGATRO provide 220KV waist-type towers, which mainly used in power transmission & distribution and other applications. These towers are fit for middle-voltage power transmission line project. Our 220KV Waist-Type Tower is made as per ASTM or ISO standard with competitive price. Till now, we had provided too many 220KV waist-type towers for Chinese and overseas market clients these years.
MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery and equipment for the manufacture of waist-type towers, we have skilled worker with certificated welders, and offers design for our clients. In material we often adopt mild steel (ASTM A36, Q235B), high strength and lower alloy (ASTM A572 GR50, GR65, Q345B, Q345C, Q420, Q460, S355J0, S355JR and equivalent materials). MEGATRO can optimize design and adjust monopole size to make it less weight, solid strength and economic cost. After fabrication all towers are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers.
MEGATRO had professional QA &QC team to control quality and execute strict QC & QC plan as per client requirements. MEGATRO is one of the few manufactures who provide waist-type towers and assemble every tower section. This attention to quality may not be the cheapest process but it does insure every tower meets our high standards of quality. And it helps to reduce on-site construction cost due to mismatched assemblies.
